In other news, we will also be attending Bouchercon in Nashville in 2024. Gwen Mayo, my cohort in crime fiction, is the 2024 president of the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter of Sisters in Crime, so please congratulate her if you see her there. I'm hoping she'll get to sit on a panel.
Paradise is Deadly: Gripping Tales from Florida’s Gulf Coast has dropped and is available on Kindle and in print. It features "Bolita and Blues," a short story from the viewpoint of Chago Aldama, a gangster who appears in our Three Snowbirds series. It's also a precursor to Ybor City Blues, the third book in the series, which will release in 2024. It's been a while between books and we're pleased to have the new one at last.

Gwen Mayo and I will have a story in the upcoming anthology, Paradise is Deadly. It's a story from the viewpoint of Chago, a character in our Three Snowbirds series, and will not be quite as 'cozy' as a story with the ladies.
A photo from our visit to the Ponce Library yesterday. It was nice to see people again, even masked.
The virus passed, and Gwen Mayo and I have been without fevers for several days now. We will still be wearing masks per the CDC guidelines, which we were going to do anyway.

Drop by and say hello! The Florida Gulf Coast chapter of Sisters in Crime honored Agatha Christie in the September meeting. We had cake, candy, a trivia contest, and a door prize. Me and my co-author/Agatha Christie trivia maven. We love dress-up! The door prize, which includes our first novel and an ARC of the sequel! Me trying to channel my best Teddy Lawless. She would have been too vain to wear her spectacles, but I would trip over furniture without them.
